The Organizing Committee announces the Second International Industrial Exhibition “EXPO-RUSSIA IRAN 2024” and the Tehran Business Forum, which will be held from November 11 to 13, 2024 at the Tehran Milad Tower International Convention Center and Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). These events are timed to coincide with the upcoming signing of a new Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran. The decision to organize the next stage of the exhibition in the friendly state of Iran was made based on the successful and productive holding of the first exhibition in Tehran in October 2023.
The organizer on the Russian side is Zarubezh-Expo JSC, while the co-organizer on the Iranian side is the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). The event is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Parliament, the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, and other sectoral ministries and agencies from both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation.
The exhibition will showcase innovative and high-tech products in IT technologies, energy, machine engineering, electronics, agriculture, oil and gas, chemical and mining industries, transport, science and education, and other sectors.
The purpose of the exhibition in Tehran is to promote the strengthening of trade and economic ties, diversification of cooperation, promotion of export products of Russian enterprises to the markets of the Near and Middle East and, accordingly, Iranian goods to Russia.
As part of the exhibition, an international conference on Russia-Iran cooperation will be held on November 11, followed by specialized roundtable discussions on cooperation in transport and logistics, energy, and education on November 12. A Contacts Exchange in the B2B format will be available on the sidelines of the exhibition.
On November 13, a visit to the International Science and Technology Park of Iran will be organized for participants.
